Engr. Iftekhar Ahmed whose services shall be available to SARM as Traffic Engineer. He has about 39 years of experiences in quality control, construction supervision, road safety, contract administration and execution of large Bridge & Roads Projects in Bangladesh. His major relevant assignments are summarized below:
- Prepare Detail Design, Drawing & Construction Supervision including other Incidental Works for Construction of 4 nos. Flyover at different Railway crossing under the project ‘Integrated Urban Infrastructure Development in Rajshahi City’ Package No. SW-02 (Lot-B) under Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC).
- Consultancy Services for Design Review and Enhancement Consultancy (DRC) Services for Improvement of Sylhet-Tamabil-Jaflong Road (N2) to a 4-lane Highway and Construction of Service lanes on both sides.
- Detailed Road Safety Audit of Road Sections of Jaydevpur-Mymensingh (N3), Kachpur-Daudkandi and Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar (N1), Kashinathpur-Rajshahi (N6) and Dhaka-Aricha (N5) (Total 500 Km) National Highway during FY 2017-2018.
- Digital Survey and Feaibility Study of Construction of Road, Bridge, and Culver from Madani Avenue-Bararbarid to Dhaka Sylhet Highway near Bhulta via Navagram under Rajdhani Unnayan Katripakkha.
- Construction of RCC Bridge on Achintapur UP H/Q- Bhalukapur Bazar Road over Jalburunga River at Gouripur Upazila, Dist. Mymensingh Under LGED.
- Feasibility Study and Detail Design of Nabinagar – Shibpur- Radhialka Road of R203 under Brahmanbaria Road Division.
- Feasibility Study, Preliminary Design, Detailed Design & Construction Supervision of 5.2 km long Fly Over at Muradpur 2 No. Gate and GEC Junction in Chittagong City under Chittagong Development Authority.
- Detail Design & Supervision of 1331 M Long Flyover at Bahadderhat junction from Muradpur towards Shah Amanat Bridge (3rd Karnafuli) Chittagong. GOB financed Project. Traffic analysis for the project.
- Road Condition Assessment Works of RHD Road Network during the year 2007- 2008, 2008-2009 & 2009-2010, 2012-2013 (As Traffic Engineer)
- KFAED funded, 392m long (P.C. girder) Hazrat Shah Paran Bridge, 45m long Kushi Khal Bridge & 36 nos. of R.C.C. box culverts and 14.88 km of Sylhet Town Bypass Road, RHD (Material Engineer, September 2005-November 2005).
- JBIC funded, 1.8 km long & 18.03m wide, 2nd longest bridge in Bangladesh (Prestressed concrete continuous bridge), named Lalon Shah (Paksey) Bridge over the river Ganges (Material Engineer, May, 2002-December, 2003).
- DANIDA funded Road Safety Project under RHD, which includes identification of black spots, design and construction of Road safety measures in six black spots (Pavement Engineer, December,1998- April, 2002)
- IDA financed, Road Rehabilitation and maintenance project, Phase-2, RHD, 156 km of National Highway Rehabilitation, Construction of 4 major Bridges, 60 box culverts ( Material engineer, September, 1993- June, 1997)
- KFAED funded construction of 61 km long road with 62 drainage structures of Sylhet-Tamabil-Jaflong Road Improvement Project under Roads & Highways Department, Bangladesh (Material Engineer, April, 1998-November, 1998).
- DANIDA funded Dhka-Aricha Highway Rehabilitation Project under RHD, which includes rehabilitation of 61Km National Road, construction of 1 new bridge, rehabilitation and repair of 53 bridges and 2 box culverts (Material Engineer, May, 1993- August, 1993).
